Roberts unveils the Wanderer radio

Unfortunately not a radio in the shape of the Reebok Stadium or Sam Allardyce’s head, Roberts’ new Wanderer radio is no-named because it’s a wind-up and as such, can be taken anywhere.

If you do spend a lot of time outdoors, it’s probably worth a look. The Wanderer is a compact, 2 band FM/MW portable radio. It has the option of both battery power and dynamo, so should the battery run-out or you prefer to ‘go green’, you can simply wind it up to get power. Winding up the Wanderer for 1 minute will give you 30 minutes listening time or if you can’t be bothered with all that exertion, you can use batteries or the AC adaptor.

For anyone in really remote locations, the Wanderer has a built in lamp, an emergency buzzer and is also water resistant. It also has a green indicator light that illuminates when the radio is charging and comes with a carrying wrist-strap.

You can pick it up now for around £35.
