We're dumping more and more old computer parts as technology moves on relentlessly. Wouldn't it be great if we could do something useful with discarded components? Well, one man has done just that - turning old PC circuit boards into a rather stylish lamp for the living room.
The lamp, known as the Micro 5 is made from vintage PC boards on engraved epoxy glass by the French designer Luc Gensollen. The shade is 200 degrees resistant and the pedestal is made of nickeled polished steel. The perfect gift for the geek in your life.
It's available now for around £140.
