According to a report on Think Secret, Apple’s forthcoming "real" video iPod (as opposed to the currently available video iPod) will feature a 4-inch display with a quarter-inch border, allowing the device to keep similar dimensions of previous iPods.

They also claim that an announcement is still on track for late March possibly, or more likely, early April. However, sources believe the roll-out could be pushed back pending an agreement with the movie industry on distributing feature-length movies.

Apple is said to be looking to launch the first movie content for sale on the iTunes Music Store alongside the new video iPod, capitalising on the joint publicity and making a real incentive for buyers to upgrade.
