Sat nav – the big black box on the dashboard. Works a treat, but doesn’t exactly fit in with that new car you’ve just bought in a shade of orange does it? Don’t despair – Navigon, has teamed up with hardware provider Novogo for a range of GPS devices with changeable face plates.

The V30 is claimed to be the first colour co-ordinated GPS device on the market to come with a selection of "vibrant" coloured plates to match your interior and satisfy the most style-conscious of drivers. In terms of functionality, the V30 offers the usual mapping for simple door-to-door navigation, wioth the bonus of being the only GPS device on the market to be equipped with an advanced voice command, so a one word command will direct you to your desired destination.

It also features a speed limit warning (audio and visual), clear voice guidance with loudspeaker and easy to adjust volume control, removable and re-chargeable Li-ion battery, suction mounted docking kit and a remote control.

Prices start at £279.
