Following on from Sony's 8GB Microvault Drive is the Mega TravelDrive from Memorex, which offers up to the same capacity, but in a slightly smaller package.
Similar to the Sony drive, the Mega TravelDrive is aimed at the business user who needs a solid, high-capacity drive on the move. It also uses a similar pivoting USB connector for access to any available USB Port. It's compatible with both PC and Mac, requires no external power source and comes with a carry case and USB extension cable.
The drives are currently available in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. Memorex tell us that this will be boosted to 10GB in May and 15GB by the end of the year. The 8GB drive is priced around £140.
