If you bought an MP3 player called the G-Flash Metal, which artist would you expect to be pre-installed on it? Motorhead? Metallica? Oh no, that's far too obvious - Maxfield's latest player comes with "Libra" - the new Toni Braxton album!
The "Metal" aspect is purely the admittedly rather smart brushed metal casing. The player itself features 1GB of storage and an OLED display - which means less power consumption. As a result, it keeps going for up to 18 hours on only a single AAA alkaline battery.
The player supports both MP3 and WMA formats and supports Windows DRM for compatability with certain music download sites. The G-Flash Metal also acts as a data storage device (transferred via USB) and as a voice recorder, allowing up to 64 hours of recording via the built-in microphone.
It's available now, priced around £115.
