If you want to impress your mates with something a bit different and very eye-catching, you might want to look at Harman Kardon’s Drive and Play, which turns your iPod into a stylish in-car music system.

It’s made up of three elements – a controller, a dashboard LCD display and the ‘brain’. The controller is positioned for easy reach and operates like an iPod click wheel to scroll through or pause your music. The LCD replicates information from your iPod and the ‘brain’ acts as the information processor and connecting port for your iPod. Your iPod will also charge when docked with the brain.

It’s available now for around £140 – but be prepared, you might need an expert in to wire it up in your vehicle.
