The Tech Digest team is schlepping into town tomorrow for what we have been promised is a huge launch from Creative, where some one very senior will unveil a product that us Brits will get to see first. That is apart from the thousands of pesky foreigners who have already seen it on the web.
Of course Creative might have some other tricks up its sleeve but we are looking forward to having a play with the Creative Zen Vision:M which has just surfaced on the Japanese Creative website.
It’s an iPod style device with a 30 Gigabyte hard drive, 2.5inch 320×240 pixel screen and Creative’s ultra quick touch sensitive dial.
Apparently thicker than the video iPod it will however play back just about every file format you can think from MP3 and WMA audio through to MPEG 1,2 and 4 video, DivX and Windows Media Video. It also has an FM tuner and voice recorder. It’ll be interesting to see if it comes in below the video iPod which sells for just over £200 in its 30 Gig incarnation. More here.
