Jamo has taken the wraps off its new Digital Media Receiver – the £350 DMR 60. The successor to its DVR 50 DVD receiver, it has the full package of stuff including DVD/CD replay, FM/AM listening and Dolby Digital 5.1/DTS 5.1/Dolby Pro-Logic II output. There’s 5 x 60w of power on tap too.

Also on board is a USB (V1.1) socket for compatible memory card peripherals and, for MP3 playback, a built-in 4-in-1 flash card reader.

Connectivity options include Component video output (with Progressive Scan), RGB (via Scart) and S-Video. A subwoofer output allows enhanced bass reproduction and there’s a pair of digital inputs (one co-axial/one optical).
