No iTunes video for the UK

Well US iPod owners will soon be able to download music videos and TV programmes like Lost and Desperate Housewives and port them on to their new video iPod. But if you live in the UK you are going to have to wait a little longer. For in the same way that the iTunes music store debuted in the US and went live in the UK several months later, the same is likely to happen with the video store. How annoying! There are obviously rights issues which Apple will have to over come too. Maybe Apple execs were having a quiet word with the BBC lot while they were there for the UK launch?

  • You did download and install iTunes 6, right? I can buy and download music videos for £1.89 on my version if I wanted to (which I don’t). I’m not sure if you can buy TV series or films, though – but to be fair, I’m really bothered with them either…
