Getting Physical

Many years ago, when I was a mere slip of a
lad, I remember seeing those first outlandish looking graphics card devices and
couldn’t really work out where on earth it plugged in, yet alone what it did. AEGIA
are facing a nearly identical problem nowadays though it also easily has the
capacity to catch on to the same degree as those early GPUs. Physics has been
big in games development and design for a while now and the general public has
begun to catch up thanks to heavily physics orientated titles such as Half-Life
2. As realism increases however, the more taxing it is on a system so AEGIA has
revealed the PhysX hardware card, or PPU, which it hopes will one day be
another essential accessory to the modern gaming machine.
