Podcasting gets support in new iTunes

Podcasting is looking less like a trend and more like another evolution of radio – as well as DAB and internet radio, that is.  It’s set to get even bigger with the display of the new iTunes by Apple CEO Steve Jobs at a technology conference yesterday. After vowing to make podcasting easier, calling it "the hottest thing in radio", Jobs proceeded to show off iTunes 4.9. The new iTunes will allow integrated subscription to a podcast, and automatically update your iPod.

For those not in the know, Podcasting is when you download a radio show to your digital player, letting you listen to your fave radio show on the go. Podcasts offer, arguably, even more diversity then radio, with podcasts ranging from politics, humour, the odd rant, and music.
