MPAA goes after TV downloads

The MPAA are beating the war drums again, and this time they’re after BitTorrent sites that allow the downloading of TV series. For those of you not in the know, the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), the "the voice and advocate of the American motion picture, home video and television industries" (quote from their webbie) has been attacking filesharing in a big way, along with everybody’s favourite organisation, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The MPAA has announced that it has filed suit against six BitTorrent sites: #BT @ EFnet, Braggin’Rights, Scifi-Classics, ShunTV,, ZonaTracker and CDDVDHeaven. Any bets on how this battle of the MPAA versus file swappers is going to end?
