New details have come out concerning Alienware‘s little journey into a merchandising universe a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, as reported on Tech Digest earlier. The PCs are available in both dark side and light side editions(what next? Star Wars houses? Star Wars cars? Star Wars mobile phones? Oh wait, we had that one).

The Aurora series PCs are going to pack AMD 64 FX-55 processors, ensuring blisteringly fast gaming, with a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 with 8 channels of 24-bit Advance HD audio, which’ll definitely help with the audio experience. The package also comes with nVidia SLI technology. As with the most Alienware stuff, the package is highly customisable, but you can bet it won’t be cheap, with prices starting from £1,499. The PC also comes with a bunch of Star Wars flavoured goodies, including desktop skins and a free membership to the official Star Wars fan club, Hyperspace.
