Nokia's low-end 3230 smartphone hits UK

After a parade of wacky designs Nokia has returned to more conventional styling for its new
entry-level 3230 Series 60 smartphone. Sporting a compact chocolate bar design with a 176 x
208 pixel, 65k colour display, the 3230 has a 1.23 megapixel camera and can
capture up to an hours of video.

The handset’s dimensions
are 109 x 49 x 19 mm and it weighs 110grams. The battery will
provide 100-150 hours standby time and 4 hours talk time. Annoyingly it uses a mini MMC card (it comes with a 32MB one) which limits the amount of storage it can offer via the card to a pathetic 64MB.

The 3230 lso comes with a further selection of entertainment features including an FM
receiver, multiplayer Bluetooth games and also the
interesting Agent V game, which like the amazing Mozzies on the Siemens SX1, uses the camera’s viewfinder. It is available now via Orange from £30.
