After a year or two’s absence LG is to return to the UK MP3 market. It is lining up a series of products for 2004 the first of which will ship in the spring.

The company is however not intending to launch a hard disk based player to rival the Apple iPod and Philips HDD100. The models will be small devices featuring integrated flash memory. The first is expected to have around 512MB of storage – enough for around ten hours of tunes.
