Panasonic introduces Intel Core Duo Panasonic Toughbooks – CF-W5 and CF-T5

Panasonic has upgraded its Toughbook range, introducing the CF-W5 and CF-T5 with Intel Core Duo processing.

The two notebooks are classed as “business ruggedised models”, solid enough to withstand everyday wear and tear, as well as having a hard drive enclosed in a break-proof magnesium frame integrated into the notebook casing. They also pack. Intel Centrino mobile technology and support for the three major WLAN standards, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g, in both Toughbooks. And there’s also an optional HSPDA module to fall back on.

They also feature an anti-reflective 12.1 inch XGA colour display and in the case of the CF-T5, a touch screen. For the full chocie of specification, see the Toughbook site. The new models will be available from the end of May.
